Yes. Pure titanium (Grade 1) contains no nickel and is biocompatible. It is widely used in bone implants, dental fixtures, and medical devices. It will not cause contact dermatitis or skin irritation.

How does titanium compare to stainless steel for watch bands?

Titanium is 43% lighter than stainless steel (4.51 vs 7.99 g/cm3), hypoallergenic (steel contains nickel), and completely corrosion-proof. With DLC coating, titanium reaches 1000 HV hardness — 2.5 times harder than stainless steel.

Will the titanium band scratch?

Bare titanium (about 160 HV) can show surface scratches over time. DLC-coated titanium reaches 1000 HV — highly scratch-resistant. For uncoated titanium bands, surface scratches can be buffed out with a scratch repair tool.

Can I swim with a titanium watch band?

The LDFAS Titanium Band adds a premium full-link titanium bracelet to Samsung's newest watches. Precision-machined links and a directional brushed finish create a clean, coordinated look from lug to clasp — a natural match for the Galaxy Watch 9 and the rotating-bezel Galaxy Watch 8 Classic 46mm.

This model uses Samsung's Dynamic Lug connector, designed for the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic 46mm. Because the Galaxy Watch 9 (40mm and 44mm) shares the same connector, this band fits the full current lineup. It is not compatible with the Galaxy Watch 7 and earlier models, or the Galaxy Watch Ultra line.

Consider me impressed!

I used to really like the generic stainless steel band on my Galaxy Watch 4, but comparing it to the new Watch 8 Classic band makes the old one look dirt cheap. I picked up both the black and titanium colored bands. Even though the titanium color isn't a 100% exact match to the watch body, it goes with it perfectly IMO. If anything, the subtle contrast makes the watch look even more premium.

Stylish and Solid Upgrade

Just swapped in the LDFAS titanium strap for my Galaxy Watch 8 Classic—really impressed. It’s got a clean, premium look without being flashy, and feels sturdy but light on the wrist. Great fit and finish overall. Definitely a nice touch if you want something more refined.

New Samsung 8 Classic Watch Band

The Samsung Watch 8 Classic just came out and I ordered this new band for the new watch. It was shipped soon after the reveal event. The band attached right away without any issues. It was easy to adjust the size of the band to fit the size of my arm. The quality is very good. I picked this brand because of the few brands that were recommended on the internet. I have to say that I was not disappointed. I had looked at band adapters and I was greatly disapointed with what they had produced for the brand new watch.
