Will the titanium band scratch?

Bare titanium (about 160 HV) can show surface scratches over time. DLC-coated titanium reaches 1000 HV — highly scratch-resistant. For uncoated titanium bands, surface scratches can be buffed out with a scratch repair tool.

I was surprised!

Precise, flawless design. Perfect fit. What I was very surprised about, however, was that titanium is not just a coating on steel. It is not magnetically attached and is very light. I am very happy with it, it is a shame that this type of strap is not available for my other watches.
