Yes. This band is crafted from solid Grade 1 pure titanium (99.5%+ purity) — not titanium-plated or coated. Pure titanium is the same material used in medical implants and is hypoallergenic.

Is titanium safe for sensitive skin?

Yes. Pure titanium (Grade 1) contains no nickel and is biocompatible. It is widely used in bone implants, dental fixtures, and medical devices. It will not cause contact dermatitis or skin irritation.

How does titanium compare to stainless steel for watch bands?

Titanium is 43% lighter than stainless steel (4.51 vs 7.99 g/cm3), hypoallergenic (steel contains nickel), and completely corrosion-proof. With DLC coating, titanium reaches 1000 HV hardness — 2.5 times harder than stainless steel.

Will the titanium band scratch?

Bare titanium (about 160 HV) can show surface scratches over time. DLC-coated titanium reaches 1000 HV — highly scratch-resistant. For uncoated titanium bands, surface scratches can be buffed out with a scratch repair tool.

Can I swim with a titanium watch band?

Yes. Titanium is completely resistant to seawater, chlorine, and sweat. It will never rust or corrode, making it ideal for swimming, diving, and water sports.

Lay your band flat on a soft surface
Use the included pin tool to push out the connecting pin at the clasp end
Insert the extra link(s) between the last link and the clasp
Push the pin back through to secure the connection
Test the fit — your band should now accommodate wrists up to 23cm

These links are designed for LDFAS 22mm curved buckle titanium bands. They may not fit other brands' bands due to different link geometries.

How many links do I need?

Most customers need 1-2 extra links for wrists over 19cm. Each link adds ~10mm. Measure your wrist and compare to the band's maximum length (21cm without extra links).

Do these come in other sizes?
