I recently purchased the aftermarket titanium black band for my Garmin Feniks 8 from LDFAS.
To my knowledge, this is currently the only manufacturer offering a proper titanium bracelet for this specific lug size, and I really appreciate the availability of this product. The overall design and the feel of the titanium are excellent.
Howaver, I am disappointed with the quality of the black coating. It is inconsistently applied, particularly in the small crevices and between the links where the original titanium color is still clearly visible. It appears that the coating is applied quite thinly, which leaves me concerned about how well it will hold up against daily wear and tear. Especially when working out, it’s a sports watch after all.
I am writing this review in the hope that LDFAS will take this feedback to heart. Because this is such a unique and much-needed product for this specific Garmin model, I would love to see the production process refined to achieve a more uniform and durable finish. With a higher-quality coating, this would be an absolute top-tier product.
I hope the team considers this for future batches.
Cant beat it for the price point, it may get dinged up for heavy use outdoors but it works great for dressing up my garmin843mm for day to day. I ordered this when the warehouse said they were out but they had another which was vented and cost more or i could wait until its back in stock, i was on the fence about it but went with it. It was relatively simple/easy to adjust, great quality and cant be the price
