Yes. This band is crafted from solid Grade 1 pure titanium (99.5%+ purity) — not titanium-plated or coated. Pure titanium is the same material used in medical implants and is hypoallergenic.

Is titanium safe for sensitive skin?

Yes. Pure titanium (Grade 1) contains no nickel and is biocompatible. It is widely used in bone implants, dental fixtures, and medical devices. It will not cause contact dermatitis or skin irritation.

How does titanium compare to stainless steel for watch bands?

Titanium is 43% lighter than stainless steel (4.51 vs 7.99 g/cm3), hypoallergenic (steel contains nickel), and completely corrosion-proof. With DLC coating, titanium reaches 1000 HV hardness — 2.5 times harder than stainless steel.

Will the titanium band scratch?

Bare titanium (about 160 HV) can show surface scratches over time. DLC-coated titanium reaches 1000 HV — highly scratch-resistant. For uncoated titanium bands, surface scratches can be buffed out with a scratch repair tool.

Can I swim with a titanium watch band?

Yes. Titanium is completely resistant to seawater, chlorine, and sweat. It will never rust or corrode, making it ideal for swimming, diving, and water sports.
